Having been raised in a “Ford” family just outside Detroit, I was exposed early on to both the “white collar” and “blue collar” ways of working and living. However, as I grew up, I thought my destiny was to become a pitcher in the major leagues; though I opted instead to go to college. I put myself through college working at jobs ranging from medical supply sales to PR and spokesperson roles for the Detroit Auto Shows. I graduated from Wayne State University with a degree in Communications, with an emphasis in Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations.  Before beginning a variety of sales roles, I had the opportunity to be an extra in the movie Hoffa; meeting and working with Jack Nicholson and Danny DeVito - a truly memorable experience!  From there I moved on to Datapak Services as an Account Manager, building and servicing accounts with leading news and entertainment companies such as ABC News, TNT, and CNN; fulfilling consumer direct response and marketing needs.  On March 17, 1998, I suffered a back injury while cleaning my car windshield. That twist of fate (pun intended), led directly to the invention of a whole new genre of cleaning tools - Glass Master®!  Fulfilling a long-held dream, I formed a company with my close friend, Rob Laskos, and then preceded to raise over $250,000 in order to make and market Glass Master®.
