                    IIA CONSULTATION SERVICE: TWO TYPES
Because each inventor has unique methods, protocols, timeframes and resources for going through the invention process, the IIA Consultation Service is tailored to meet the needs of each individual inventor.
The IIA Consultation Service consists of two main types of consultation. Within these two main types of consultation are more detailed service aspects that are “tailored” to each individual. The first type of consultation (Basic Consultation) is for inventors that are just starting out, and primarily just have an “idea” for an invention. The second type of consultation (Professional Consultation) is for inventors that actually have a product that is ready for market.
The following is a more detailed explanation of the two consultation service types to help inventors choose the service that best suits their needs.
